From TheUnChoice.com -- an evidence-based Elliot Institute campaign to raise awareness about unwanted abortions, post-abortion issues and maternal deaths, plus help, hope and healing. ... The UnChoice. Unwanted. Unsafe. Unfair.

Update your pro-life message. Make sure fair-goers in your county see new pro-woman/pro-life evidence, resources and hope.

Reach 6 groups of people by adding important new evidence to your outreach.

Bring hope, light and truth -- and new resources -- to your state and county fair booths this year.

Tell the public that most abortions are unwanted or coerced -- a risk and a human rights abuse in its own right -- and dismiss the red-herring rhetoric about "choice" once and for all. The public has been kept in the dark about this news, and the results are tragic and heartbreaking for women and families.

Reach individuals or families who may coerce or consider abortion with evidence of its significant physical and psychological harm to mothers, too. This will deter abortions today, while also helping to change the hearts and minds of those who hold "pro-choice" views about abortion.

Have our physical and psychological risks fact sheets handy, and our help and healing resources for those who need facts or immediate help -- including those who are being coerced or those who have already been hurt by abortion. (See links to these resources in our list of fair-friendly resources below.)

Forward these resources to your local fair booth sponsors! Consider volunteering to help at the booth, or to print and deliver copies. It's a simple, but powerful effort.

You'll reach important groups of people, such as ...

  1. Those who need help with a pregnancy or those who need information about anything from fetal development to available help and resources.

  2. Those being coerced or even forced to abort against their will.

  3. The general public who need to hear the news about unwanted abortions and post-abortion injury, harm and heartbreak.

  4. Those who will be deterred from having, pushing for or forcing an abortion simply by seeing the long list of serious aftereffects that can result, including maternal injury, trauma and death.

  5. Those who need compassion or healing from an abortion that took place weeks, years or even decades past (for some, especially teens at risk of coercion or traumatic aftereffects, you may even prevent a suicide.)

  6. Leaders and advocates in various sectors of society, including legislative, pastoral, medical, education, social service and political sectors, as well as in homes and communities.

The UnChoice button or bumper sticker can be a great conversation-starter or prize. It opens the conversation by exposing the "choice" myth. See more "The UnChoice" products here.

The broken-heart message also helps fence-sitters reconsider their "pro-woman" ambivalence about this issue. See more "heart icon" products, from apparel to totes, mugs, stickers and hats, here.
