Why it matters

The UnChoice campaign is unique and important because it's based on new evidence that most abortions are unwanted or coerced, while also exposing other risks, including violence, homicide - the #1 killer of pregnant women - forced abortion, botched abortion and post-abortion harm and heartbreak. This campaign also educates leaders and the public, including those who might coerce or tolerate abortion, about its harm and heartbreak for all involved.

Which ad? Which media? A note about effective advertising

Classified ads or anything from the Mix & Match menu can be run just once or a few, random times. But for maximum effectiveness, especially when running a campaign, it's essential to run ads at least 3 times and up to 6 or more times. More is better! Studies show most people see or hear an ad several times before the message "sticks."

A campaign should run at least one month and preferably three or more months, supported by more than one media. For example, you could run a few print ads plus a billboard, a radio ad or internet ads ... all running at the same time over several weeks or months.

Advertising works! But it's a marathon, not a sprint. The more patience, consistency and repetition you apply, the better your results will be. With just a little planning, you will achieve results.

We want to help you make the most of your resources and use these ads in the most effective way possible. So, before running ads, please read the following:
